They need to market him properly and he'll be a superstar.

not as a closer, he needs to start

i dont wanna hear about how he has only 2 pitches

ryan in his prime had 2 pitches
randy johnson in his prime had 2 pitches
koufax had 2 pitches
gooden had 2 pitches

he needs to start, wasting him as a fuking closer, :snoop:

Chapman has been throwing a change about 10% of the time this year....twice as often as he ever has.

He was gonna start until Madsen, Bray and Massett all got hurt and they needed him in the pen.

I agree he should eventually start, but closers can be superstars.....ask Brian Wilson.

Yeah, but if a guy can start it's stupid to put him in the pen even if he is a "closer superstar."

Would you rather have your best pitcher throw 200 innings or 70 innings?

He'll probably get a start & they'll see his drop in velocity & get so shyt-scared that they put him back in the 'pen again :sadcam:

But hey, that's alright because the closer is the 2nd most important position on any team (Tim McCarver quote word-for-word).

When you have a "Mariano" on your team that makes that daily work that much easier, especially when you have a team putting #'s on the board. What can the rest of the bullpen do or then the logic of starting him would be stronger. He is gonna start though... It's buzzing all around Cincy.

The Tribe keep rolling. :win: Already won the series from Detroit and gm 3 is at 12 today. 25-8 w/ a 3.5 lead over Chi. No injuries this year, this team is fun to watch :takedat:

Again don't drop me... If you do that.. I'll be sure to haunt your decision for a long time! #thehitsarecoming #ohyes #theyrecoming

To my fantasy owners: Y dont we put me on the bench for a lil, not drop me, but bench til I break out...You'll thank me later #insidesource

As for me.. It's nights like these I regret buying my family and relative MLB package to see my at bats! #geez #getacluedueces #hattrick

blue jays rotation is so overrated by our announcers

Romero having his usual mid season control problems
Morrow has a Great start then a shyt start
and the jury is out on the other three youngsters

We need a certified ACE if we're going to win this division

Not that ERA is be all end all or anything, but I think the Jays have the second or third best staff ERA in the AL.

but we're also nubmer 1 in the AL in walks... I don't know maybe its kuz I didn't have a proper reference point.

But your statement just made me feel a lot better in that If Drabek and Romero get their command issues under control, we will be deadly..especially wit Joey Bats and the rest of the lineup starting to come around
