I understand what youre saying, just as big of a reason Selig put this in was excitement not just giving the wc a disadvantage. But I thought for the longest time smthg needed to be done about the WC having no real disadvantage. I dont think there is a better solution, even having to play all the games ont he road isnt THAT big of a deal to me.
Lmaoooo....still tho, technically it can be called anywhere in the outfield. It's stupid to do so, but it can be done.
Doesn't negate how awful it was tho. That ump should be sent home for the remainder of the playoffs.

To make it even more retarted, the wildcard winner gets the 1st two games at home, then the next three are played at the division winners stadium. I believe that's only happening this season tho.

When I heard about the new changes, I just assumed it was going to be best 3 out of 5. Then the game was on yesterday and I was just dumbfounded that it was 1 and done.

I'll bet they do it within 3 years.
First, re-eliminate the extra day after the ASG.
3-game WC series on Fri-Sat-Sun, DS starts Mon/Tues instead of Sat/Sun.
It's 2 extra days at most.
Or just move the start of the season up 3 days...or take an extra day or 2 of off days.
