:stopitslime:bum ass bandwagoners.

fukk that annoying team and billy beane(kinda unnecessary, but :manny:)

:beli:
They play in one of the worst stadiums ever in a crappy part of town.
It's easy as a Yankee fan to call a fanbase frontrunners, when you have a brand new stadium and one of the most largest fanbases in all of sports.

they had no problem filling the stadium this week. they're gonna fill it up for the playoffs also. and that's my point. suddenly the same crappy stadium that you wouldn't go to in may, is good enough in october? come on now.

Just cuz ur a Yankee fan you want all teams to be all :shake::shake::shake:
instead of :dj2:

Let em Stunt mang:pachaha:

on the contrary, the yankees corporate, straight-laced style annoys me.
the real fans get their props. the others can eat a dikk for all I care.

but this team annoys me tho.

The team in May had no juice, also the reason why folks go to games in April - July is because partly because of the stadium and the fact that this stadium doesn't have the same amenities that many modern stadiums have.

You a Yankee fan, you know that most folks at games aren't really in their seats, they're too busy getting Garlic Fries or getting their son a $300 Jeter jersey. In this day in age, the games are secondary to the stadium. Obviously you can't have a baller stadium and a wack team and draw 30,000+ regularly, but a quality stadium and one in a great location is very important to a team's ability to draw.

If you don't believe me, peep the Nets when they were in Jersey(sans the last two years in downtown Newark), they were in a terrible location couldn't draw too well.

As good as the A's been, IDK about this match-up with the Tigers though. It seems like the worst stylistic match-up for the A's out of the rest of AL squads. But, the A's have been on a role and been killing it, but this is the match-up I'm looking forward to the most. I'm bout to :eat: good off of this 06 rematch

I'll try and update the thread as the rotations & times become set, and as we get further into the playoffs. Should be an excellent post-season.

Who's gonna bite on BJ? :leostare:

I'd like to see BJ Upton in Atlanta. I know this team isn't gonna resign Michael Bourn. I'm worried about this roster going into next year. Chipper is so important to the squad. Someone will have to step up and lead but I don't know who will. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the Braves in the offseason.

The Yankees play on 161st and River. Holla at me :violent: Location's not exactly a plus.
