Did you see Trout's stats? Talk about stealing a base against a knuckleballer, but he's the first person ALL YEAR to do it. And he's leading the AL in hitting. Kid is in his first full year and batting .341 at the break, as well as leading the AL in stolen bases.

Harper is a different story, but Trout deserves to be there. His offense + defense makes him an AMAZING talent.

I know dikkey doesn't give up stolen bases...it's also an All Star game with a catcher that's new to him. It's not like dikkey was paying Trout any attention or even thinking about throwing over.

Then he can start in the all star game where you have to qualify a players subpar stats. It sounds like I'm hating on dude, I'm not. The game is for cats who are having first halves that speak for themselves. I should be able to look at dude's stats without his name or age included and say, that's an all star.
