Knowing is half the battle. Knowing that you were sold a false bill of goods, helps you know none of this is "capitalism."

I don't blame the rich, because the poor or "The 80%" have to do their part.

First they have to educate themselves so they become more savvy and financially literate (banks, credit card companies, and universities are preying on the dumb), for instance, if more people bypass overpriced universities and go to community colleges watch college tuition drop.

Second they need to stop electing multi-millionaires who only serve special interest groups, if we see a fifth presidential term come and go without addressing this 15 year old economic crisis than the American people failed themselves.

Third, American's have to stop being apathetic to income inequality, part of the reason the rich are getting richer is because they are not paying anyone. Low, middle, and high incomes are not growing together at the same rates.

Is it a coincidence that only the great depression was able to provide better income distribution?

Hard numbers are important because we don't get stuck on idealistic notions without the numbers and facts to back them up. This would only create a weak foundation.

Average American can say pharma is bad, but a detailed analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of medicine would be less ambiguous. Anyone can say the poor are being exploited and the rich are getting richer, but the statistics can provide a "clear" picture.
