Awful movie. Couldn't even make it halfway. You can tell Sandler was trying to compete with the Apatows and McKays of the world but took it too over the top and failed. And to say Sandler has classics really displays your mindset. He has good, solid movies. But classics? :childplease:

So "That's My Boy" is not "Jack & Jill" status? Because that why I've avoided the movie since it's been out.

Anyways, the best (or at least my favorite) Adam Sandler movie is "Funny People". But "Funny People" was Directed, Written, & Produced by Judd Apatow and co-stars actors who are often staples in Judd Apatow produced films, so "Funny People" being my favorite Sandler movie has more to do with it being a Judd Apatow movie than anything to do with Sandler.

Adam Sandler has zero classics. He has some decent movies like Waterboy, Big Daddy, and Funny People, but I don't understand how an adult can watch an Adam Sandler movie and come away thinking it's a classic. I couldn't believe how overhyped Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were when I first saw them, dude makes movies for kids

i cant believe an adult can still be an eagles fan,, ur teams superbowl wins must keep you warm at night :deadmanny:

Randomly watched it and it was Adam Sandler's funniest film in years. :leon:

His, Chris Rock & Martin Lawerence's late 90s/early 00s films are the ultimate gulity pleasures for me, f*** a Rotten Tomato :krs:

I liked RedLetterMedia's review on Jack & Jill and they critiqued Sandler's "methods" (in part 2)

I would say Happy Gilmore and the Waterboy are arguable classics.
