I noticed it when it happened, since the camera just got a bad angle that caught that this wasn't set up for LA Knight to get landed on. Probably for the best, because they would've gotten hurt.

However

Taking that spot at face value is fukking HILARIOUS. They storyline is that a man jumped onto another man (obligatory ) with so much force that it sets off several small explosions.

I don't understand people defending this... if they created a spot for him to jump and told him to miss then they should've never created the spot. We know nothing about Uncle Howdy... its not like he's a high flyer, we don't even know who he is. Why not do a spot where he drags LA knight into the abyss or something that doesn't require him to look bad?

Why would he ever connect on such a crazy spot? LA Knight‘s career would be over. I’m pretty sure they had a rigged “landing spot” that he was supposed to hit with all kinds of cushions and pillows underneath.

Which is exactly why I said why would they even create this spot... this nikka not Jeff Hardy or Shane McMahon... its not like Uncle Howdy is know for being a daredevil.... give him a spot that makes sense.
