I know a lot of people hated RAW around this time, but I would watch this over modern-day RAW any day. :francis:

But they fukked up the concept of guest hosts. It's an idea that would have made more sense back in the Attitude Era when wrestling was part of pop culture. They should have just stuck to having wrestlers and genuine wrestling fans hosting the show. Why the fukk would Al Sharpton care about being on RAW? :mjlol:

Y’all remember that Raw back then when Vince got pissed he had to move the show from Denver to LA at the last minute due to the NBA playoffs and decided to make the main event a 10 man tag with one team dressed as the Nuggets and the other team dressed as the Lakers?

Absolute cringe

That was horrible. I remember that was also the match where Mr Kennedy's WWE run ended, he suplexed Orton wrong and Orton got pissed and slapped him, he got fired shortly after. Just two years earlier he had the money in the bank and was going to be VINCES SON. Crazy.

I don’t know man, I’d take Street Profits vs Garza/Andrade for the 15th time over that initial Sheamus push when he won the title in 2010. Same for any combo of Orton/Sheamus/Jack Swagger/ADR

The fukkery. I remember they had a lookalike of Stan Kroenke and Vince pushed him down. :russ:

Honestly, I'm biased because I grew up with that era, but looking back, RAW felt like car crash TV. They were literally doing anything and everything back then, regardless of if it worked or not. You wanted to look away, but you couldn't. And they at least had the capacity to take things seriously and give characters actual motivation for doing things. Like when Big Show turned on Team RAW at Bragging Rights, just so he could get a World Heavyweight Championship match. I don't think they would even go out of their way to explain something like that now.

I'm only talking about two-hour RAW. Once it went to three hours, it didn't have the same replay value. :hubie:
