He'll never get the credit he deserves simply because he wasn't 'exciting' to a lot of people.
He would have developed it if he played in this era.
Breh. It’s simple. We got to stop with this assumption that if so or so played in this Era that means that would have developed into a 3pt shooter..
LeBron has played in this Era and still isn't a consistent 3pt shooter and he takes a lot of them..
TD is 6"11, played 15ft and in and is career 50% from the field and 69% from the the FT and played 20 years...now because of the Era he would be able to shoot better??
No!!
Breh. It’s simple.
If someone worked their ass off to separate themselves from their peers during their own era and did what it takes to win, they would do the same amount of work in any era. The best become the best because they’re willing to do whatever it takes to win, not because of any particular skill set.
Why would he need to develop a 3pt shot?TD the GOAT PF...
But he's not hitting the 3 in this era...his shot has always been flat/line drives..
Part of the reason he's one of Goats off the glass jumper shooters..
Why would he need to develop a 3pt shot?
Nah that’s not how it works. You have people argue MJ (one of the greatest mid range shooters and good from the line) wouldn’t be able to develop a shot from 3. But Duncan with his limited range and inconsistency from the ft would?Breh. It’s simple.

Brook Lopez was better from the line than Duncan to begin with and ft shooting has shown to be a decent indicator at being able to shoot from 3.He might or he might not.
But we've literally seen Brook Lopez go from a guy who only scored in the paint to one of the best 3 point shooting big men literally from 1 season to the next.
From 2008-2009 to 2015-2016 Lopez took a combined total of 31 three pointers. And he only made 3 of them.
Since that point Brook Lopez has shot .349% from three (including .374% this past season) and helped to create a lot of space for the Bucks.
It's not crazy to think that maybe Tim Duncan could have been a competent three point shooter.
So if your argument is that Brook Lopez is more capable of adapting to basketball than Tim Duncan, just go ahead and say that.
