ECW was so fukkin’ 90s. Integrating the music, culture, cutting edge aesthetic of that time…Insane :wow:

It was its “coolest” when it felt underground. Random ass tv stations showing it late as hell. You either saw the show that was or I’d like me, a homie of yours taped it for you (he caught it on local Indiana tv before Chicago got it). If you couldn’t watch it, you at least saw it in the magazines.

“Raven?!? Isn’t that fukkin Johnny Polo?!?” :hhh:

:wow: Used to get those PWI magazines and always saw the merch ad with Dreamer leaking. Once Channel 62 got it at 1am on Saturdays:banderas:

Now you know 62 had to be the one to pick up ECW. They were independent and still relatively new, they dipped their toe into the wrestling pool occasionally (Smoky Mountain, USWA,

:flabbynsick: AWF), and they were showing Anime on late Friday nights when that shyt started really gaining steam in the States.

That edited scene of the spider lady shooting that web out her puss in Wicked City had a young me like :gladbron::wow:

Too bad WJYS eventually said enough of all this filth and got born again :francis:
