That Sisqo Unleath the Dragon Album went too hard

A couple days ago, I randomly wanted to listen to the song Unleashed The Dragon. From there I ended up listening to the whole album. I completely forgot how good this album was

i own this cd..legit...it was on point...thong song was an anthem on the dance floor..but the album was dope even if sisqo was pushing the button too much

I was only a kid when this dropped but man this album was dope as hell. This dude can sing and his hooks were crazy.

His verses were incredible as well, a lot of modern singers can't put out verses like he did.

That Vice mini-doc on the Thong Song had me feeling nostalgic so I'm listening now, and yeah this album was flames. Now that I think about it, it's one of the first R&B albums I ever bought. This kid in my class kept singing the lyrics to the Thong Song every day til I finally asked him wtf he was singing lol. Then I think the video dropped soon after that and it was a wrap.

I was watching that yesterday, it is mad entertaining listening to how classic hits came to be. It seems in the early 2000 all producers were producing shyt in the hopes of “Mike” using it.everyone wanted the legend to jump on their shyt.

Weirdest thing about the Thong Song was that everything about it was on some classic, epic type shyt (the sample, the instrumental, the key change, Sisqo's vocals) EXCEPT for those tacky ass lyrics. Makes you kinda wish Sisqo came up with some SLIGHTLY more creative lyrics but then again, the simplicity of the lyrics is part of the song's appeal lol.

Those are often the best songs. My barber who does music always says “You want it to be catchy and clear enough for everybody to sing it drunk or high in the club”.
