I don't hate the dude at all, but I just notice certain things. I actually like listening to some of his shows. I remember one caller called in asking about having sex with a young lady that wanted a relationship. He said she keeps saying she wants to be in a relationship before having sex. Instead of Tariq to say drop her and find a woman who is ok with hooking up he say's to tell the young lady that he loves her and they can definitely talk about a relationship after having sex. I'm sorry, but you can't talk about pro black this and that then the next moment you're talking about how to run game on black people. My thing is don't be 80% pro black and then 20% hood. Pick one side and be 100% about it. To me it just doesn't come off as authentic. He is not the devil, but I notice certain things that make me raise an eyebrow.

To be honest , its all relative, I mean the Panthers were hood but had a black progressive stance. Tariq is just messed up period. He was the one advocating pimp this and pimp that, and then he was the same dude who advocated for paying for women after the Donald Sterling incident. He was the same one talking about dudes fighting at the club but wanted to take a fade with Professor Griff and his boys after they made a comment about him.Dude is full of it.

I don't hate the dude either but certain things you just don't play with ,blacks in this country and al over this world have no strategy to move collectively, and when you make some friviilous input because you want to make a couple dollars of the topic, you are really rendering yourself a danger rather than a cure.

My only beef with Tariq is he need to do a separate show for that relationship talk. It completely throws the show off when these people calling in with dumb relationship questions:

"Tariq, I've been with this guy for 8 months and he's never let me come to his house"

Really? It just throws the shows off. As for Umar but he put himself in that drama, he has nobody to blame but himself.

I prefer tarriq over umar. Umar gets Ina chikdmlikenstste pretty damn quick, he's wayy to emotional and gets hood too quick. He's a smart guy but he needs to seperate hisself from the hood shyt.

I don't see tarriq as fake and running game on females has nothing to do with not being pro black. Poor point if I ever heard one. D

Splenda of guys change life around, jail birds become productive members of society so so forth. Tarriq is just a hustler, I have no proof that this is just a hustler to him, keep in mind the nikka never worked a 9 to 5 in his life he's been a free thinker all his life bouncing from one idea to the next. Hidden colors is proof, making a movie ain't cheap if the nikka didn't give a fukk Lotta cheaper ways to exploit blacks than to make a damn movie lol.

nikka made 3 going in 4 holding interviews, flying nikkas out and all thst, not something frauds do.

Yall gotta do better if you want people to believe this narrative of tarriq being a fruad, drop something we can actually de

1. I'm not going back and forth over Tariq, sorry
2. I said he gives certain vibes of a hustler. Malcolm WAS those things because he was misguided, but after he cleaned up he wasn't interviewing pimps and laughing with them.
3. I do not look up Tariq or any pro black RGB whatever they want to call themselves today, so Tariq has never disappointed me. He can say he does not want to be a leader, but he puts himself in that position. That's like me saying I don't want to be a babysitter but every moment I am baby sitting someone's kid.

Yeah...but no one is forcing people to use your baby sitting services. No one is forcing people to listen to Tariq or Umar or Jason Black or Sotomayor or Newworldafro......people can listen, ignore, find other pundits, or even create their own punditry at their leisure.....at least until they start censoring the net...:francis:

A former mack/pimp is gonna end up being the next Hotep/conscious king.

The battle for the Kufi Kup..:wow:. Its fun and games to note the humor in this stuff. However, hopefully there is less pride and more efforts to build without a leader. I think Dr. Boyce Watkins used the term, "advisor" or "advocate" as opposed to "leader", when referring to himself and black people issues....he talks about it in that video need to find that video regarding Umar. Plus with so many internet black "conscious" people out there, it can be like going to the cereal aisle, b/se it so many flavors/choices. It's like back home in N.C, you would have a large church and a few people will leave and form a small church, then some people would spinoff from that church and so on.

I feel like what all these pundits have in common is two-fold. Essentially self esteem building through 1) material community enhancement (black owned biz, etc), and the other is 2) temporal awareness of history, present, and future issues (health, policy).

They're both frauds. One is a fake doctor who denigrates black women on moral grounds while secretly fukking strippers. The other is a failed rapper and former PUA who now sells poorly researched/sourced "history" to black people while pimping faux militant bullshyt.
Lol...I know. Both of these guys are straight up clowns and charlatans and these dudes are arguing over which one is better. :mjlol:

nikkas like "I'll take L. Ron Hubbard over Gary Trudeau."

I get certain vibes from people and he went from being a failed rapper, to a person who never claimed to be a pimp but boost's up pimps, then to a pro black person. It all comes off as a hustle.

After hearing people like you talk I opened up Tariq's books Mack Within & Art of Mackin a while ago. He tells the reader that they shouldn't be a pimp and lists downfalls and consequences for people who try to be pimps rather than "boosting up pimps" like you say.

Having watched hidden colors Tariq was on location in different countries with film crews talking to the indigenous people there. That's alot of work and investment knowing you're going to come back and get bootlegged by people you're working to help. The elders in the movies like Francess Cress Welsing, Shahrazad Ali, Phil Valentine, Booker T Coleman and others are wiser than you and are Very good at spotting people who are just trying to "hustle".

From a business standpoint Hidden Colors is a labor of love because you're marketing towards 12% of the population some of which will devalue your work regardless of the quality and effort put into it.

Breh, the people calling Tariq a pimp are straight lying. I've listened to everyone of his podcasts and he has never advocated pimping or anything even remotely close to that.

Don't blame Niklas for finding a way to make bread blame the community for the Vivitar struggles allowing nikkas with a brain to eat off others hardships.

I can't hate on Tariq cause he's doing independent documentaries about Black History outside the hollywood/tv/studio system. Yes the Mack stuff is wack, I'm sorry. Like I said, if he wants to still do that relationship stuff, he needs to do two shows. But there's nothing wrong with his conscious switch. The people hating on Tariq are mad he's being successful with the documentaries instead of making their own to counter his. The problem with Umar is he loves to wag his finger and talk all that "Moral" stuff. Well if you going to go down that road then don't be shocked when people call you out.

:patrice: Yo, this reminds me of a mob movie or The Sopranos where someone took a minor coincidence such as this as a term of disrespect and shyt hit the fan for all parties involve (being vague, but I digress) I swear this is all too peculiar.

Through I doubt their beefing anything serious, Umar would turn on Tariq it seems in a heart beat. That's just me.

:yeshrug: Tariq still ain't no better, but :manny:
