Rewatching this in honor of GOAT Hackman and i forgot how deep that bench was :mindblown:

They've got Gabriel Byrne showing up for two minutes, coked up Tom Sizemore as a mafiaso and even Skylar White shows up in this bytch :heh:

They really spared no expense during this era of action movies on the bit part players.

Lisa Bonet in this .....god damn :banderas:

Saw this in theaters in 1998, when I was like 13. Everyone has nostalgia for their childhood, but what experience today would be like that watching this movie with 4 of your homies? I think a Dad was there too. And we loved this movie,

It was frenetic, and funny, and violent, and intelligent. Serious actors, a sharp script, great direction. Movies aren't like this anymore, like an R rated thriller that also works for teenagers, but makes them think a little.

Also, how paranoid were the late 90's, as far as movie themes, so much of my childhood memories of movies were of those government conspiracies

Murder at 1600 (The Chief of Staff)
Absolute Power (The president)
The Rock (general gone rogue)
Mercury Rising (NSA gone rogue)
Conspiracy Theory (NSA) or CIA
Enemy of the State (NSA)
The General's Daughter (5 Star general cover up)
