I kinda forgot The Sting conversation that Spencer had with Q. What did it mean again when he did the nose flick at the end?
Damn good finale.
Loved that that they threw in a Casisdead song at the end
The Sting is about two conmen (Paul Newman, Robert Redford) who pull off elaborate schemes to get money. This involves having to act like they got caught at some points, or act like their con failed.
Basically, Spencer and Q got everything that they wanted, but they kind of had to misdirect people a little bit and make them think that they failed. Spencer threatened Q's eligibility with the USC network deal, so he had to kind of do backyard shenanigans to get people to forget about that. Now Q gets to go USC anyway and that network deal will probably be back on. Plus Spencer still gets to pursue his lawsuit against the NCAA if he really wants.
Really, everything Spencer did was just a big misdirect to get what he really wanted.
Also, why wouldn't Spencer tell his partner?that this is all planned out, an exit route for the show and Spencer to cash out on big on the network TV which im confused on as The Rock has techinically resigned from Sports X agency or whatever its called.. which owns the network that The Rock is trying to capitalize on...
so if the plan is to get Spencer/The Rock to fake going after the NCAA so that Q could sign with USC after being ineligable and allows the brothers to buy the USC network.. how would Spencer end up getting paid off that if he resigned from Sports X
kind of a big plot hole
