Most of the R&B artists and groups from the 70's changed their style to sound more "80's" to appeal to the commercial crowd....and it paid off for them. Nothing wrong with that at all
Man the way how Whitney really was reminds me of Wayne brady in that Dave chappelle skit. How this dude fight off them withdrawls in prison and basically going through hell on earth and then once released your wife trying to put you back on the shyt. I know bobby and Whitney loved each other but man you can tell they weren't good for each other. If Bobby had Alicia from the get go I don't think he would be as flabby and sick as he is now. Part 2 was sad as hell and is really close true to the second part of his book.
