That Badabook Movie Overrated

I saw it had a 97 on RT so I checked out on showbox. ..it was very entertaining. But the story was basic as it gets and the movie ended leaving me underwheled. Maybe I just didn't get it...but a 97 score is laughable for this imo. Acting was decent but I don't view this an an elite film by any means. Its entertaiNing I'll give it that

So all the 97% on rottentomatoes means is that 97% of critics that reviewed it agreed with you that it was at least entertaining/worth seeing. It doesnt necessarily mean that anyone rated it a 9.7/10 or that its an amazing film.

Best horror movie in years. I easily give it a 9/10. The little boy went from cute to annoying af so fast, but when he attacked his moms I was .

I thought it was incredible personally. But fyi That rating signifies the percentage of people who enjoyed it. Simply that percentage of people said it wasn't a bad movie. So even you with your 7/10 would help increase that score. Its average review rating at metacritic isn't too outrageous at 86%

I havent seen it so idk. If its different/unique/well done I could see how most would consider it a fresh take on horror.

Finally saw it last night and shyt was AMAZING. Dudes will come in here shytting on a real horror movie and bigging up garbage like Strangers, Texas Chainsaw remake, Friday the 13th remake and Rob Zombie garbage like Devil's Rejects.:scustiverson:
