After revisiting this thread. The typically lunch lady isn't young. I'm sure she's seen a $2 bill before.
In fact, I know of alot of older women that collect $2 bills. Further more, there's a difference between attempting to purchase something with counterfeit money and something that is not US currency and if counterfeit money is a problem in the area, why aren't they using counter detector pens to check the bills.
I hope that schools local community brings the drama to that school and its school district.

I have seen one of them since like 86-87' since my aunt gave me a stack of them.

Yeah I ran out of them when i was a little kid and I heard they got discontinued... very hard to find. I se to go to the candy store with them in the summer...
