Wind turbines do come with cold weather packages to deal with harsh environments like this.

This may be on the utility company for skimping out on the extra money to buy the cold weather packages.

Those private utilities companies will do the bare minimum to maximize profit. No matter how it will effect the population they're serving.

This is why the Postal Service should never go private.

Used to get some snow/sleet etc at least once a yr in the dfw when I was growing up. Enough to shut school down in some districts. It’s been so long since Texas has had a decent snow that mufukkas have lost their minds.

Maybe Charles Xavier should've put more money into the disaster budget. :gucci:

Now Charles Xavier is asking for Federal Government help. :martin:

2-3" of snow got wheely Abbott begging the feds for FEMA help :mjlol:

Get some bootstraps and buy some ROCK salt and pave your roads in the spring and summer. Stop acting like a welfare queen

:camby:
:mjlol:

These rethugs got no shame man. Abbott would be saying some slick shyt on Twitter right now if it was a “blue state” begging for help from the federal government.

I don’t understand how a state where almost everyone owns a pickup or SUV is scared of winter weather :mjlol:
It's not about being scared of the snow, it's about how irresponsible the state is at providing protection from it. They literally get warnings days in advance and still don't salt or put sand down.
