I'm wondering why he couldn't show proof of an active certification via online / cert site or phone call if he didn't have a hard copy...
Why didn't the Temp Agency / Tesla require submission of proof of certification as a condition of employment?
The $60 he spent on testing was probably going to hold him over until payday. If I'm understanding correctly he was contracted through a 'temp agency' which typically pays every week.
Otherwise, did the Catholic agency help with shelter & transportation for the heck of it?
