"Two years ago Turnage, 50, was wanted for not paying tens of thousands of dollars in child support payments to 25 children he had fathered with 15 women in
Memphis, Tennessee,
WREG reported in November 2012.
Now he has been ordered to pay child payments to a child he fathered to a woman in
Forrest City,
Arkansas, and two more women in Arkansas have secured child support orders for children he fathered with them,
The Smoking Gun reported.
Turnage, of Memphi, was ordered to pay $60 per week to Miesha Davis, mother of the pair’s son Ja’Voin. The support order came as a result of a paternity complaint filed on Davis’s behalf by Arkansas’s
Office of Child Support Enforcement.
A Circuit Court judge also ordered Turnage to “maintain health care insurance” for the child “when reasonably available” through his employer, and pay $365 in court fees.
Turnage failed to appear before the court.
Davis
told WREG that she found out about Turnage’s history when she called the Forrest City child support office.
“When I called. She was like, ‘Who?’ I said Terry T. Turnage. She was like, ‘He’s famous,’” she said.
When Paula Stewart, 22, met a child support officer to ask about her two-year-old son’s father to make a financial contribution to support his upkeep.
“They told my child made number 24.” Stewart told WREG.
Davis interuptted: “Yeah, she told me mine was 26 when I came. There’s one in between ours.”
Stewart and Davis say they haven’t received a cent from Turnage since their boys were born.
Turnage achieved notoriety when he stopped paying child support about the time he posted on his Facebook page a picture of him holding a stack on $100 notes.
Turnage’s son, Terry Jr., owns a nightclub in Forrest City, which is listed as his father’s residence in some court papers. He hosted a two-day party for 700 people party to celebrate his 50th birthday at the club last month, The Smoking Gun reported."
