I remember watching battledome back in the day. As a huge American Gladiator fan I was anticipating heat, but the show was disappointing. The only thing i remember about the show was one of the contestants fukking his ankle up so bad it turned completely the other direction, but I thought it was fake cuz he didn't look like he was in much pain.

Did that constant fukk his ankle up battling against that fake Busta Rhymes looking ass nikka? If it was I think I remember that cause I was like "nikka you ain't Bus-a-Bus... HIS ANKLE!"

There was some dude named Wolf I think, and that bigger blond chick Helga, but I don't remember shyt about any of the other Gladiators except Gina.

Goes to show how well the new show went when I can remember the Season 5 gladiators form the original and the only one I can definitely name from the new one is the hot girl who now wants to act, but was an MMA fighter.

I knew that was him. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw him in "Friday After Next". Battle Dome was a interesting show back in the day.

The announcer for the show was Steve Albert (brother of legendary sportscaster Marv and the uncle of Kenny); Scott Ferrall provided color commentary. Seth Stockton served as referee for the entire run. Downtown Julie Brown appeared in early episodes, functioning as a sort of sideline reporter. The "Chairman", whose face remained off camera, oversaw the proceedings. Halfway through the show's run, Ferrall and Brown were replaced by Ed Lover and Brian Blakely, respectively, and "The Chairman" was dropped from the show.

Breh it feels like I'm one of 5 people that watch ALL episodes of Nitro 2000, Thunder and ppvs during the Vince Russo/Bischoff fukkery Era. There was enough fukkery in a single episode of Nitro 2000 to make you go "What the fukk did I just see?!" for months until your body goes from fukkery overload like when Scarcrow was hitting nikkas with extra strength doses of his fear gas.
