Once again, Terry Crews continues to emasculate himself! :mjlol:

But I see Crews hustle, in which he's riding the "I've also been victimized by a Hollywood executive" wave so he can garner positive public sympathy & possibly get a big civil judgment or settlement from the William Morris Endeavor agency &/or the individual accused of sexual assault (Adam Venit)

So filing charges isn't demanding respect? If he succeeds he sets the precedent for men and women in the future. Your definition of standing up for one's self needs to broaden. Period.
He isn't setting a precedent for men and women, especially since in this hollywood game it was women who came out before he did. LOL.
So as well as you needing to understand what standing up for yourself means, you probably need to go look and see what precedent means as well.

Some of you really trying to pass off the flawed logic of, a rich white man molested him so he couldn't do anything because the police and the justice system is racist, so its better than after getting molested he then used the racist justice system and police to make the rich white man pay.

This shyt literally makes no sense if you logic holds

I hate you what I would of done people.
Why?
I've never in my life allowed anyone to come up to me and touch me arm to try to pull me, touch my hair, or do anything to me like grab my genitals.
I can only think you, must believe this behavior is acceptable. I feel for you, but you should know that behavior isn't acceptable and no one has any right to do that to you. You deserve respect.

Sound Reasoning
Ever since I heard his story about that incident, that dude seemed extra lame to me :yeshrug:

The way dude explained it, he sounded just like all these chicks out here "exposing" these sexual harassers years later. On some "he was so powerful." In fact, it's worse because this was in front of his wife and he just sat there on some "I can't lose my job" sh#t.

Not downplaying his experience, but I don't understand the hoe-like response then and now. He's doing what chicks do. :dame:

Some things are just worth fighting over. And being openly groped in public by another man on some :umad: sh#t is one of them.

Peace

I'm glad Crews weighed his options and didn't snap on dude. It's so easy to say what you'd do in retrospect, after the moment has passed. At the time, you don't think Crews was mad? You don't think he wanted to destroy the dude? But then he thought about his career, his family, the fact that he's black.

Protecting his manhood(and self respect) would obviously come first in his head but he had to weigh his options and be smart about the situation. You already know what kind of ways it would have been spun if he did strike the dude.

"Terry Crews gets angry and fights at Hollywood party!"

"Terry Crews BRAWLS at Hollywood shindig. Quoted by some as being a dangerous physical presence and a threat to the festivities."

Jennifer Lawrence recalls Terry Crews incident: "He was always a fun guy, I don't know why he snapped. I was having a few drinks, *laughs* I'm not a alcoholic..."

Meryl Streep comments on the Terry Crews assault: "I thought he was a nice, happy, dancing man, we can't stand for such animalistic rage."

Note: Women weigh their options too when something happens to them(abuse, assault, rape, etc), "I need this job. Nobody will believe me. They won't take me seriously. I can't believe I let that happen. He has power though. Why me? I don't even understand. etc."
He would have been Blackballed. No question about it. People have been Blackballed for less

They can't even comprehend what this means in practice. Before it would have been over we would have been looking at him in much the same way we view Lamar Odom

Everywhere...You never there.
In Terry Crew's official account, he clearly says he was caught off guard and asked dude what the hell he was doing. The one doing the nervous giggle was the Hollywood guy when he realized Terry wasn't with it. He thought about getting violent, decided it wasn't worth catching a charge over and left. Yall act like he went to the party for the PURPOSE of getting his nuts felt to advance his career.

I don' t know a lot about Terry Crews, but dude is a father, husband, breadwinner for his family and never been in any legal trouble or been a detriment to his community...but ALL that gets invalidated due to one random unwanted creepy encounter that he gave a pass to? You have to understand how "power works". NYC had a "Stop and Frisk" policy for YEARS where police routinely stopped black men in their own neighborhoods to search their body including their genital area. You never heard of any physical retaliation on any meaningful level...brothas went along with it and complied, and protested through lobbying legislature and the like...why? because they knew their freedom, livelihood and maybe life would be in jeopardy by getting violent. Are the thousands of black men in NYC in that same category of "non men" too? Its cool to say you think Terry did the wrong thing, but its not as simple as dudes being non-men or not minding getting touched.

Oh so you woulda let that ride?

...and I agree, it's not that simple.

Except Crews never "let that ride". I don't understand how people keep coming to this conclusion. He called everyone that worked with the guy that very same night, and let them know what he did. The guy ended up calling HIM the very next day to apologize. All this "I woulda beat him up right there fukk that" talk is just stupidity. Crews let his disproval be known right off the bat, something that some of you seem not to not be getting. Physically attacking the guy would have been both pointless and stupid.

Should've hemmed dude up and let him know he wasn't to be played with if he was so worried about losing his career over a punch

What a way to go out....out like a sucker
