Depends on the context I guess. In Belgium it's def not the same pattern.

i dont know anything about belgium but is belgium a poor place and also are these jihadist from Belgium homegrown educated terrorist, poor terrorsts or immigrants? any articles in English you could prove that educate on this?

someone on another forum made a really good point how a recruited member of Isis who joined because of the conditions hes in made it easy to want to use it as an escape has less chance of blowing themsleves up for ideological purposes than a highly educated homegrown or recruited person in it for pure ideology.

for examples, more Syrians have been killed by Assad and also other countries than they have been killed by ISIS or jihadist groups, so it would be quite easy to get Syrians living there under oppression and war for years to be recruited into a jihadist militia movement. they probably see it as a way out and self defense than a jihadist ideology that want to destroys everything in its path to implement an Islamic state.

its crazy what people will do for self survival.

Belgium is a reltively rich country country with inequality issues, especially the past 15+ years. Djihadis leaving from Belgium are indeed homegrown, but most don't have higher education and are stuck in poverty. They see it as a way of "meaning" something and getting back at the West/Belgium. From what I've read here and there most hardly care for religion.

Juan Roberto's bald spot
I love watching otherwise left leaning liberals turn to hawks after shyt like this. There is a reason over 70 percent of this country supported the war in Iraq, wait for a major terrorist attack and principles and morals go out of the window.
watching the media get into a conniption fit is hilarious, Blitzer is damn near having an aneurysm repeatedly showing some clip of a bunch of jihadis threatening all kuffars. These guys (and Toyota) are sitting there enjoying the free media publicity plus the added bonus of production values from cnn's esteemed journalists. The same journalists who will wonder why the jihadists have mastered social media.

Saudi Arabia pumping millions to promote Wahhabism in India

The diplomatic documents released by WikiLeaks last week have revealed that Saudi Arabia is pumping in millions of rupees into India for opening of religious trusts and non-governmental organisations.

WikiLeaks have disclosed an undated document that contains a list of Indian institutions and societies that have applied for financial assistance from the Arab nation.

The document suggests that the government of Saudi Arabia itself pledged donations to nine such institutions located across different states, including Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Kerala and Maharashtra.

Saudi Arabia pledged 4.5 million Saudi Riyal (SR) to different institutions in Kerala only.

Similarly, In Uttar Pradesh, 75,000 SR were pledged to two different societies for establishing a Madrasa building and a vocational centre for girls.

The documents also reveal that the Secretariat General of the Muslim World League in Mecca, a controversial organisation with alleged links to terror funding, had requested Saudi Arabia to establish the organisation’s Salafi or Wahhabi centres in India.

Wikileaks that has published more than 60000 leaked cables from Saudi Arabia, also revealed that the country was concerned about Iran’s “growing influence” and outreach to the Shia community in India.

It is worth a mention that, India's Shia population is the world's second-largest after Iran. Unlike the Arab countries, differences between Shias and Sunnis in India are doctrinal, and mainly in areas such as ritual law, theology and religious organisation.

“To counter the increasing Shia influence, a certain section in the Saudi establishment has been propagating Wahhabism in India," says an MHA official in an interview to Sunday Guardian.

In the last three-four years there has been a steady rise in Wahhabi preachers coming to India to conduct seminars.

"There is no doubt that Wahhabism is getting stronger in the country, especially in Kerala, mainly because of the radicalisation of a large number of local youth who are going to Saudi Arabia in search of employment. Kerala has been showing signs of sharp radicalisation. This was the only state where posters mourning the death of Osama Bin Laden had come up and a prayer for Ajmal Kasab was also held after he was hanged," warned the official.

Donations from Saudi are pouring in and playing a key role in this process, which is being repeated across other parts of the country as well.

SOHH Class of 2006
If they're the real terrorists, they're meeting them at home in their neighborhoods, in the far out arrondisments where they've been warehoused for decades.

They're far less dangerous than these poor/working class Walmart loving hillbillies who go into the US military to SPECIFICALLY get training to eventually overthrow the US government. The "III" or 3%ers. Or the klan or any other of these white Sons of Anarchy muthafuccas.

white people in the USA are the largest terrorists threat to the USA.
The world actually.

Basically he's saying it's okay for psychopaths like ISIS to kill innocent people because the western world has done the same....I disagree because ISIS militants are going about this the wrong way and I doubt they are truly fighting in the name of Islam, it's power and to show they are the biggest and baddest terror organization which unfortunately they are right now and I won't even get started on their execution videos. This Kenneth guy is just an American sellout and I bet if Obama wasn't in office he'd have crap to say.
Ma that can't seriously be all that you took away.
While I don't doubt there's a lot bs in that rant, that hits on astronomical terms of reaching.
The concept of perpetual war and politicians being puppets aren't far off concepts..
