RIP but French intelligence wtf? After Charlie Hebdo, after some American frat bro prevented a massacre, these terrorists still had carte blanche to move around Paris with no repercussions and they were doing this in close proximity to the president. If they can't even assure their president's safety what hope does the public have in a country with a large marginalized Muslim population.
And Obama needs to shut up with the ISIL success spin. The same ISIL that has managed to attack Russia, Lebanon and France in a month is not a success story in the US.
Is Hollande willing to put boots on the ground to defeat people who somehow view their own destruction as a success. That's the question the West needs to answer in this non linear idealogical battle. The answer will not be found in America where their success was in the more clear cut communism capitalism battle. The answer is in Europe's history where they have come across similar situations such is the 19th century Sudanese caliphate and a whole bunch of other "bullets will bounce of you" encounters. I do feel as if French arrogance and imperialism has made them a massive target. All of the countries they colonised are in ruins or close to it. Both Arabs and whites have been going back and forth with these terrorist acts in Europe (with no sign of stopping), but the fact that both successful Arab terrorist acts happened in France specifically has me worried that the racist National Front party will win.
