Terrence Howard: Helped Robert Downey become Iron Man, & jerked me, & wanted to pay 1/8 of contract

On Thursday’s "Watch What Happens Live," a caller asked Terrence Howard why he didn’t do the other "Iron Man Movies," and Howard took it as an opportunity to avenge what he saw as a slight by Robert Downey Jr. While Howard never actually mentioned the actor by name, it was more than obvious who he was talking about. Howard claimed he had originally helped Downey get the role of Tony Stark, and when it came down to returning the favor on "Iron man 2," Downey took Howard’s paycheck for himself.

Terrence had a little bit of pull after being nominated for an Oscar for Hustle & Flow and getting critical acclaim for Crash, so this isn't out of the realm of possibility. Remember Howard received the HIGHEST paycheck for the first Iron Man with developing plans of spinning War Machine into its own franchise. Once Iron Man became a colossal hit and shot Robert Downey into superstardom Marvel then came back and low balled Terrence. Terrence told them to kiss his ass and the rest is history.....

1)Howard does not understand that he is black...Downey is not expendable...he is a white superhero in a meg-blockbuster movie franchise....white hollywood needs Downey...they don't need Howard and they probably didn't want a black hero anyway...
