What makes you think Mayweather and Haymon would have done business with Arum to even make the fight? If I remember correctly at that time Golden Boy/Haymon/Mayweather were REFUSING to do business with TR/HBO. That's not Arums fault. That's all Haymon/Mayweather. It's the same crap going on now with the PBC- in house fights unless it makes financial sense to go elsewhere.

You have to remember that fighters in the 70s & 80s were with Top Rank on a fight by fight basis. Bob Arum made fights in apartheid regime and tried to justify his actions.

To be honest I think Crawford has more of a chance proving that Arum did not promote his fights to the best of his abilities than racism. As I found that racism as a term is very hard to prove.
