You really think he beat Ruslan though convincingly? He ran that whole fight. Breh, there's such a fine line between boxing and running when the opponent is a brawler.

But with Manny though, yeah ain't nothing wrong with having him on your resume as handing you an L.

Still to be fair, it does rub me wrong a little bit about Algieri being in the mix. His fight with Prod was arguable, and he took a thorough azz whoopin from Manny, barrel rolls and all. Just like that, he's back in the mix for a belt. Something wrong with that picture. I guess that's what happens when a promoter and network keep everything in house.

Pretty much.

Ruslan fought the worst fight possible when you done dropped your opponent twice early.

- Didn't go to the body
- One punch at a time
- Too much head hunting
- Inability to cut off the ring
- Pretty much did fukk all what Roach was saying.

Now during all of this, Algieri is...

- Jabbing his fukking head off
- Throwing combinations and moving
- Working the body
- Snapping Ruslan's head back with right hands that you see sweat fly off

Fight was close no doubt, but Ruslan looked worse at the end of the day ( boxing wise, not face wise cuz Algieri eye was )

The biggest difference between Lara and Algieri is heart and a consistent jab. Lara will jab, but he doesn't move and jab. He makes real big circles in the ring without throwing anything. Chris makes short circles in the ring in order to stay in range to throw that consistent jab.

I'm not saying Algieri is better than Lara, because he isn't, but when faced with someone on his level (Ruslan) he looked better than Lara did against (Canelo) who mad cats thought was beneath him in skills.

nikka didnt listen to a word of what roach was saying. if he kept going to the body and cutting off the ring, he would had a better chance at winning.
