Nobody here can confirm anything about the offer, whether it was legitimate or complete bullshyt.
But can you explain why PBC was acting like the fight wasn't financially viable yet also refusing to do simple due diligence on an offer?
For them to do a complete 180 and make the fight with high guarantees after a whole year of them pretending like the fight didn't make financial sense makes it seem like they were just lying/stalling for some reason. They didn't bother to investigate the offer because they weren't making the fight regardless at that time
