I asked you a specific question and you turn it around and start going into theatrics.
I mean what round did he knocked down and was he competitive or not prior to that. Act like you never seen a fighter get frustrated for making silly mistakes and getting knocked down
exactly , appreciate you commenting .Porter was ahead until he got careless, was actually fighting a beautiful fight and bailed Crawford out.

He didn't bail Crawford out, Crawford just finally figured out how to neutralize Porters offense, which is a step back punch. It's why I was wondering why Spence didn't do it to Porter when he displayed a beautiful step back jab against Mikey.Porter was ahead until he got careless, was actually fighting a beautiful fight and bailed Crawford out.
You know you're my boy but how else was Porter supposed to fight him? Boxing on the back foot counter-punching to get a UD lol? Before they even fought/during the build up Spence told/dared Shawn to stand in the middle and trade with him. This was after him and his pops started talking shyt. And Shawn got whooped at his own game.
People forget it was a split decision. You know you're my boy but how else was Porter supposed to fight him? Boxing on the back foot counter-punching to get a UD lol?
Seriously, Porter brings the heat 99% of the time. Porter brawling & trading should not have been a surprise to anyone that actually watches boxing instead of certain fighters.
And for the record and the last time lol.....Spence did not "whoop" Porter in the least bit. He went life & death & barely won an razor thin fight. And it was one of the rare instances the judges agreed. You guys need to stop repeating that nonsense
What happened was what was supposed to happen..Porter lept into some shyt and Crawford caught him clean as a whistle...the inside counter punching. Porter fell for it. Didn't see it coming. He didn't bail Crawford out, Crawford just finally figured out how to neutralize Porters offense, which is a step back punch. It's why I was wondering why Spence didn't do it to Porter when he displayed a beautiful step back jab against Mikey.
How Porter fights is what made him lose to Crawford. Porter wants to fight in a phone booth but he comes in all wrong. He uses feints, level changes and stutter steps to come in which will work for a period of time, but once a fighter realizes you aren't throwing any punches to come inside he played right into what Crawford wants to do, which is be able to have time and find his range to pepper you with punches. If Porter knew how to come in behind a jab(which Spence does) it would have been a completely different fight.
It's a simple calculus. Porter's number of fights and how he fought them is more sound than saying what Errol could have have done.
I feel like I have to say this in every Spence/Crawford thread...
I'm a huge fan of both dudes. I'm one of the first Errol fans here. I remember when he went pro and Ronnie Shields telling me he had next.
I just don't think any fighter is invincible.
Porter actually said it on his podcast. He said that is the difference between Spence and Crawford. He said Spence wants to beat you at your own game and Crawford wants you to beat him at his game. I listen to Porter's podcast and remember him saying it, he said Spence came in there trying to beat him at Porter's game. Came out of the mans mouth.![]()
Conor Benn-Chris Eubank Jr Date And Venue 'Pencilled In' - First DAZN UK PPV
Despite the attempts of their promoters Eddie Hearn and Kalle Sauerland to play down speculation Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr are being lined up to fightboxing-social.com
Cool article from Porter himself , stating how he believes Spence wanted to beat him at his own game . So backs up that theory
This is what most people would call an excuse.. This idea that Spence "broke" Porter is a myth.. He was just outclassed by Crawford and beaten in a more impressive fashionthan Spence.. So did Brook.. and LowKey Keef...Give credit where it's doPorter was doing youruber podcast, and mentally out the game when he fought Bud. His father loterally explained this and its why he tossed the towel. He knew going in Porter wasnt the same hence he felt he had to teach Shawn a lesson that you cant half ass against Bud. The Spence loss broke Porter. After that his focus was completely life after boxing.
