Even when he was active (after he left Top Rank) his fights were through Mayweather Promotions (co-promoted with Golden Boy) until he ended the partnership with Golden Boy and started doing it on his own.

Out of all the dream fights that never took place, has any ever not happened cause of fukkery like this? Most of the time it's cause a fighter lost (Shane to Winky blowing the Trinidad fight) or out of the ring issues (Tyson losing plus going to prison blowing the Holyfield fight). 1. Said PBC was unwilling to open the books.
2. He was unwilling to reveal where the mystery offers were coming from. Who in their right mind would just trust some unknown money man who Crawford refuses to reveal.
3. Said PBC was not willing to let him approve expenses if he fought with no guarantee.
4. Says he was taking ALL the risks when now it sounds like Spence had no guarantee either.

These were all lies or half truths. When Spence called out that his side agreed to 1 and 3 Crawford said "yeah after I was looking elsewhere". Well no shyt, that's how negotiations work.

If Bud just came out saying he wasn't comfortable fighting with no guarantee or that he wanted a tune up I'd have no problem with his stances. Instead he put all this extra shyt on top of it to make it seem like a PBC had no intention of actually making the fight when they met all his demands. If it was a date thing or wanting a tuneup just say that. shyt plenty of fights have been agreed to in the past with a tuneup scheduled before the actual fight. He could've signed the last contract offer with all the demands he asked for and schedule the fight for February or later while still taking the fight he has scheduled for this year so he doesn't feel too rusty. Instead he ghosted them and signed a different fight.

I don't give a fukk about PBC in the least bit. Stanning anybody or anything is corny as fukk to me. I just call it like I see it. I do think it was dumb as fukk for PBC to not put up guarantees for either fighter so they definitely aren't blameless in any of this either. Both sides should have gotten together much sooner to make this shyt happen instead of waiting until August. This should've been discussed immediately after the Ugas fight.

None of that shyt was lies.. He gave a timeline of the issues and roadblocks he ran into.. This is just how many weeks and months it took to be resolved.. PBC weren't willing to open the books at 1st.. Bud had to fight for that.. The transparency shoulda been there from the jump.. A guarantee shoulda been there from the jump, at least we agree on that.. Crawford shouldn't have had to entertain any companies outside the PBC if PBC had guarantees with this fight like they do any other major fight.... Crawford had to fight for all these things for months and the slap in the face is after all that and after Crawford told them he was looking to fight regardless in 2022, PBC sends a contract for 2023.. Facts he could of said 'I want to get a tune up in because I've been inactive for a while before I fight the #1 welterweight in the world.' and we would of accepted that because it's reasonable.
