the greatest irony here is that its white men controling both sides of this debate, while the rest of the minorites are on the sidelines (often in the middle) of their debates.
It was white people who shoved the lgbt thing onto everyone(think africa, asia, middleeast, domestic black population, etc) and its their white cousins on the other side of the political spectrum pushing things backwards. No matter who wins , it will be a white person in the winner’s podium.

Think of how they did this exact same play in the school system. Half a decade ago they did a similar push against the softest targets (trannys), then the next softest targets (general gay books), and finally they circled back to CRT (black people).

While i personally dont agree with their lifestyles, these LGBT people should idealy be propped up as black people’s buffer (or lightening rod) against the maga republicans. If I were to use a geopolitical analogy, compare lgbt(s) to the way the West is currently propping up Ukraine as a buffer against Russia despite not giving a damn about Ukraine’s welfare prior to russian incursions. Its a matter of strategic pragmatism

Shout outs to the people who kept denying these issues were tied together: take the L. When the goal is to dismantle civil rights protections the end result is banning interracial marriage, and the next step will be allowing business owners to refuse to serve black people.
