Lmao at believing that fan fiction nonsense, they didn't move on shyt. Heupel was literally chasing him around begging to get in contact the past several days. That's not what you do for some you're already “moved on” from in December obviously.

You goofy gullible nikkas be so proud of your ignorance, its hilarious to read :russ:stick to stacking boxes at Amazon

You basically copying and pasting your own posts in this thread doesn’t make it a stronger argument. He moved on (if that was the case and not the other way around) because he was told they weren’t blinking. It certainly doesn’t mean he has better options elsewhere. The spring portal window is not where teams make major moves, especially at QB where he’s trying to get $4 million. He maybe could have had that leverage if he wasn’t an average QB. No good team is throwing their QB room out of whack for a mid QB.

You babbling the same nonsensical gibberish that other gullible nikkas have already failed at trying to do doesn't make it a stronger argument...the reporting is clearly in black n white
He moved on (if that was the case and not the other way around) because he was told they weren’t blinking.
Irrelevant, it could have been because the grass gave him allergies or the lunch was bad. The point that's being reported is that HE chose to leave while his coaches were still out begging to get in contact with him assuming they were going to call his bluff.…

Let me ask you...do you actually believe if they thought he was leaving in December they wouldn't have grabbed a QB during the first portal window? Like lets just use common sense… as it appears any other kind of thinking is too hard for a lot of you nikkas lol
It certainly doesn’t mean he has better options elsewhere.
What does this have to do with whether he chose to leave them or not?

That's for him to worry about… but ironically if Tennessee already had “moved on” from him in December like you're insinuating it would appear to be rather incompetent roster management to not grab a replacement QB back then when as you say

“The spring portal window is not where teams make major moves, especially at QB”

You gotta pick an argument nikka…. Either they already moved on in December but were too incompetent to get a replacement at that time when more options were there

Or

They DIDNT want to move on and he left their country bumkpkin asses at the alter like the reporting I posted says

:yeshrug:

Which one is it?

It’s gonna be rough when the schools get more business minded and start treating players/students like the NFL does
Schools are already hiring GM's now. Most coaches don't want to go into a kids home and talk about how much they're going to make off NIL or what the school has on the table. GM's are here and on the way. Schools also have a guy on staff now that does nothing but watch the portal and get info. College programs are already on the business tip.

Then who’s the enforcement arm genius? Every time there’s a situation like this, there’s first responses are saying the NCAA is fukkin up when all they’re doing is enforcing the rules the member schools vote to to instill. And if there is a CBA, that will be done at the conference level.

its not really a genius level question.

the players and the schools themselves will have to come up with a framework.

You been trying to son big white on a business tip on this page, but you really think this dude ain’t already try to go through back channels BEFORE getting to this point? Where do you think these reports of other schools not wanting him came from?

He may not even get his market price if he actually wants to go to a Tennessee caliber of contender. Those big schools are the ones turning him down.
Big white, you sound ignirant as hell.
He put in his paper work to leave when UT last night was claiming they were negotiating stop it

As for offers it fell apart they are going their separate ways. No party is the bad guys, simple as that

He probably already knew there was no coming back after he was a no show at practice. His dad tried to lie and say he didn’t know anything about this, calling the On3 reporter a bytch for breaking this news. At that point it was a wrap. Why would he enter the portal before the spring was even over, before the spring portal even opens, if he wasn’t told they weren’t open for renegotiations?
He left and put his paperwork in the deal broke down. Why try to villianize the dad or anyone. This happens.

Incentive model is broken now. A lot of guys have no real incentive in getting to the NFL, they're focused on securing as many 6-7 figure bags as possible in college. When you add it up across a 4-5 year college career the money is quite similar to what a day 2-3 draft pick will make on the rookie deal.

This. You can ride HS name recognition—-not college, HIGH SCHOOL——to generational wealth. A ‘mid’ QB who was a 5 star and will ultimately not make the league can redshirt 1 year, play sparingly or decent in year 2, and not be exposed til year 3. By that time you can be up 6-10 mil and if you’re not that good, just transfer to a lesser team where you’d be an upgrade for them so they’ll still pay you. Essentially what Carson beck just did

I never said the team moved on from him in December. Go back and read again. How would that even make sense? They clearly would have gone after some other QB and told him to hit the portal in December if that was the case.

I said he tried to leverage for more money in December and they didn’t oblige. He tried again this time and they didn’t oblige again and that’s when they knew it was time both sides moved on.

I think people need a reminder….

Optics no longer matter. If you can play, all will be forgiven and forgotten

So for Nico this is only bad if he has to be a backup which I doubt. That’s it. Otherwise if he’s good enough all we be forgotten and may even be better for him bc teams have shown they will pick QBs who played against lesser comp ie Shaduer scamming his way to a top 10 pick. Kenny Pickett, etc.

Only fans and media want it to be easy assessing QBs so they can call them trash. From a players pov, fukk em. Make them draft you off raw skill and ‘upside’ make as much money as you can before they find out you ain’t it. Bc the odds tell us, 90% of these QBs ain’t it and will not be starting NFL QBs. So college QBs should milk the hype as long as they can

colleges have ALWAYS been on the business tip....scholarships are renewable EVERY YEAR....thats not automatic like a lot of people think....only difference now is that the money is all out in the open
