Stop hating on a 20 year old getting more in 1 year than you getting in 5 :umad:
I should stop assuming & saying, "be a man" to you.

You're CLEARLY a female.

* Don't address actual points discussed

* No logic used, only emotional responses

* worried about only money in your arguments

* resort to insults instead of addressing facts

You got it, boo. :hubie:

Facts that's the problem...the projection is crazy

People who never took risks in their careers
People who never negotiated for a raise
People who settled for whatever they earned while being underpaid in their field.
I respect a 20 year old taking a risk and trying new things
I should stop assuming & saying, "be a man" to you.

You caught feelings after being wrong about multiple things, tighten up.

Another 10 years will pass and you still wont touch Nicos 2024 money :umad:

When you take the top-level view of it, it makes sense. The goal isn’t college football money, it’s NFL money.

From this point of view, UT the last decade doesn’t have a great reputation with QB’s. Like was mentioned that scheme simply doesn’t work in the NFL and teams will have “Football reasons” question marks for everyone coming from there.

Only thing he’s really lost is college money and reputation, which will be recovered if he excels. I think dude still walks away with $4 for these first two years? If so then that’s already crazy money. Getting actual experience in a Pro Style offense to show teams what he can do I think is a bigger factor, especially if he thrives.

C'mon breh, he went to UCLA as a LAST resort BECAUSE it's close to home, and he got decent money. As no one else was willing to pay him.

He screwed himself.

You don't leave a stocked/loaded squad in Tennessee, who just made a playoff in the first yr of the new era, for a ucla team where you will likely have no Oline...going against the likes of Ohio St, Penn St, to a lesser degree but still USC. He's going to get creamed (pause)

Secondly, ucla tho in a ritzy area, NIL is likely TRASH. So he is hamstringing the team and ultimately himself bc they won't be able to afford other pieces around him.

He's gonna get exposed more than he did this past season for not being up to par.

Eric Bienemy got fired from ucla as OC, so we'll see what offense he gets to "run". :comeon:

And if ucla was the goal, then why shop around ar other schools only to get turned down?
Everything you said was correct. No lies detected. But I will say this, if Nico and the team can get a few wins early and show improvement, the hype train would be crazy out here if the LA machine gets behind them. Remember USC is a private school. Much bigger football tradition and culture, but where's twice as many UCLA students and alumni in the city and state. If they can somehow get that football program going again the NIL money would flow in easily. Its all hypothetical because they're starting from scratch offensively and how are they going to look playing in the midwest during conference play is the question. But they needed a signing, a headline, or a story line like this badly, for better or for worse. There was literally nothing to talk about football wise with UCLA whatsoever. What ever happens is another story, but at least their staking a claim to something to peak people's interest out here.

Also missed that the colis favorite coach Bienemy left UCLA for Bears to be a RB coach under a 28 year old OC

What’s going on with his career, with this pace he’ll be coaching high schools in Canada in a few years
Unless his interviews are just that bad as they say, I always thought he could've easily locked up a lower P4 or a good G5 head coaching gig with no problem.

I imagine that he is prioritizing the type of football he wants to play and thinks it’ll be better for good career moving forward than staying. Asking for 4 was to tax TN, a place he didn’t want to be and (to him) would hurt his stock. He signed for 2mil with them and left to go to LA for 2mil. So same contract he already had but in LA instead of NW Tennessee.

This is what I personally believe so who tf knows forreal. But his family also just came out and said that’s it’s about football and not the money so it lines up to me. He wants to run his own offense and UCLA will let him. He was taxing TN with the 4mil to make it worthwhile to stay.
Why would he wait to leave after spring if that was the case? He knew Tennessee had the same coach and system. So he willingly stayed at Tennessee in an offense he didn’t want to play for throughout the whole spring instead of getting started with a new team?

Every reasonable person wants these players to get paid, with the tv contracts and revenue these schools make, they deserve it but at the same time I want these kids to be smart about what they’re doing. Everybody wants to talk about the positives of NIL and the portal but nobody wants to talk about the negatives, how players like Jaden Rashada can’t even find a school, how other players have ruined their careers over bag chasing and constant portal jumping instead of trying to get properly developed for the next level.
