Jeff’s solo TNA career >>> WWE’s you could very easily argue. He was always treated special and at the tippy top of the card, and his character development was better. His rivalry with Aries over the world title is super underrated. They had great matches and their ladder match was cray :wow:

Jeff did surprisingly well character wise as a heel during this time. I didn’t really think it was something he could pull off. That anti-Christ stuff made his promos much better as a heel that a face. Crazy thing is, part of this gimmick had actually started developing before he left the WWE in 09 or whatever. It was around the time when he beat Undertaker on SD in a ladder match. I don’t remember what led up to that match, but I was caught off guard of him somewhat going heel, and he just expanded on that awhile after he went back to TNA.
