We all know Everette didn't have a concussion! We saw how Jimbo was fussing at him during that GT game. He just used Syracuse to get Sean confidence heading into the Clemson game.

I'll say this... FSU's best plan... passes to the TB often b/c unlike last year...our LBs struggle covering the RB's.

In my opinion...if FSU can get Clemson to not play Man coverage so they can load the box to stop y'all run game then it'll be a high scoring game.

But my question is this...

Y'all were able to make Miami One Dimensional holding them to like 20yds rushing...but on the flip side Kaaya was able to throw for about 400yds and the game was close at the end. Given that Clemson has average 545yds/ game over the last 4 games [2 balanced, 1 400 rushing, 1 400 passing]... what do you think Jimbo and staff will try to take away from Clemson? What is y'all strengths and weaknesses on Defense?

He passed the Impact Test at half and after the GT game. He took some shots against GT, in the second half he took a helmet to helmet hit that wasn't flagged.
Jimbo sat him for precautionary reason after he complained about concussion like symptoms.

I expect for us to stop the run, and squeeze the pocket on Watsun on passes. If we can't get to him for sacks, we must contain him and make him uncomfortable. Use the strength of the DL against the weakness of Clemson OL

DL(DT and DE) are our strengths. We took a hit at DB but we still a very solid unit.

LB is weakness, especially in coverage. Hopefully we can get our best LB back for this game.

Yes. This will be a sneaky tough game. 3 out of the next 4 games are very lose able. Luckily FSU gets them at home. FSU plays much better at home then on the road

NC State has been a problem ever since Russell Wilson. Yes.

Nc State has been giving FSU problems since the late 90s. Especially at their place thats a tough spot to play. Good thing the game is in tally this year.

Is Pender still out? I can't front...Jimbo was smart as fukk to sit Cook and let him heal a bit. I was really hoping for us to clamp down on NC St and give the starters some rest but they just wouldn't go away. If Gallman didn't try to get that extra yard after picking up the first [causing him to be held up and NC St put a helmet on the ball perfectly] and fumbling I think we go up by 27 and the Wolfpack would have quit. That gave them life to get back into it.



Side note. - NC St OL isn't that good...but when you make blatant holds on every play and they don't get called...it'll make you look a lot better than you really are. Clemson should have had 8 sacks that game.


While our OL isn't the best ... it surely isn't as bad as it's been the past few years. I think y'all will try to run the same blitzs that BC did against us bc they really and truly confused our young lineman.

Against us I can see y'all using Cook in the passing game more than normal. Our LB's are terrible in coverage and every team has exploited that against up that could. [NC St did that very effectively] So I can see us putting Mac Alexander on Rudolph and y'all attacking our LB's with RB wheel routes and TE crossing routes.
