How do you feel about the Xbox controller for fighters?

It's fine for me and familiar since I play on analog stick a lot of times, going back to SF4 on 360, if I used D pad I'd feel more comfortable on playstation.
Another factor is that I have a stick that I don't use much but if I did it works on Xbox, and most sticks that work well on PC are also Xbox compatible usually, so I have that in my back pocket in case I feel that I can't get it done on the Xbox controller.
I hope someone does a side by side video of the real game and the debut trailer because even though this looks good it seems like it doesn't quite look as good as that trailer did.

Bought it last night, been playing T7 off-and-on.
Nina has been my main going back to T1 and going to give it about a month to see if I want to main this or SF6 (still pissed there's no Makoto).

30 minutes till the game unpacks on steam. PC problems
