Tekken teases “major announcement” on July 7

What could it be?

Look forward to a Tekken-related announcement on July 7. The project’s official Twitter account is teasing something major for that day.
“On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, there will be a major announcement from the Tekken project, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary,” the tweet reads. “Please look forward to it. #Tekken7.”
A Tekken 7 image attached to the image includes the text, “Awaken, raging fist.”
Stay tuned.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the announcement was a new character based off a hentai tentacle monster.

Tekken 7 will make the leap from arcade to PS4 console in 2015, Bandai Namco has today announced.

The game’s producer Katsuhiro Harada took to the stage at Paris Games Week moments ago to confirm that the popular fighting franchise will makes its way to the PS4 next year, on the series’ 20th anniversary on PlayStation. This was accompanied by a trailer focusing on the history of the series:

Harada confirmed that the PS4 version of the game will also receive a flurry of exclusive content. Tekken 7 is currently confined exclusive to arcades in Japan, although it is still in a beta, unfinished state. It is the first game in the franchise’s history to run on Unreal Engine.

Hope they add Tekken Ball and a Tekken Force Mode that is simple. Not that Campaign shyt that made Tekken 6 sub par. On top of other modes, if Tekken 7 is the final one in the series.

Tekken 7: Tekken Tunes on PS4 Would Require a System Update and Policy Change; Negotiations Not Easy

The Tekken Tunes feature allowed Tekken Tag Tournament 2 players not only to listen to the background music of every stage, but also to replace the music with their own MP3 files and more. Of course the fans of this kind of feature would like it to appear on Tekken 7 on consoles, and some thought to ask Director and Producer Katsuhiro Harada about the possibility of its implementation.

Harada-san mentioned that it’s impossible for the moment on PS4, as it would require both a system software update and a policy change by Sony.

That said, he promised to continue negotiating with the house of PlayStation, unfortunately it’s not too easy, even due to potential security issues.

Considering that the feature was quite neat, hopefully Sony will make it possible in the future, but for the moment we’ll have to have faith in Harada-san.

Tekken 7 needs Tekken tunes more than any past title. All the music in 7 is dub step trash
