They took a hammer and sickle to my back
after 300 matches having played this game since tekken 1 in 1994 this is my opinon (and all them wonderpark tourneys back in the late 90s 
)
tekken switching to the juggle based, combo based play was just something i had to get used to, im still not a huge fan of it but i dealt with that change, but the rage arts and the lame new characters has to stop. my biggest issues is that the rage art is too easy to pull off, when i first witnessed it i couldnt beleive it, my whole style is pressure and more pressure it force me to sit back and wait for them to fukkin use it then punish it. its essentially force turtling.
the new characters like the brazillian girl (name escapes me but her portuguese is boujie as fukk lol) having a 4444 that does bigger damage than say, a juggle combo that i mastered with Nina just isnt right. the older guard (nina, ling, etc) dont have any equalizer thats as simple to do, which im ok with ,but some of these easy 1 button combos are simply too easy to do with too much damage.
my record is some pathetic shyt i think at 161-149 i forgot, but sadly alot of those losses were me getting used to the rage arts, and then dealing with newer characters like lucky chloe who have great damage with easy to do combos that i simply have to get used to. I definately feel for a player like me who used combos sparingly ,its now a must, tekken 6 i could still manage to be great without having to punish 50 percent of your health at a time, but in order to adjust to how the mechanics work, its a forced (and unwelcome) change, in all honesty the rage arts just dont do it for me, but i still love the game, but the style i perfected especially in the tekken/3/4/5 era has seemingly come to an end as the game has definately become more casual friendly
aint nothing more humiliating then pulling off piff with xiayou only to have a rage art and 2 hits win round after round.
@Kamikaze Revy i win majority of matches against similar style players who play in the same vein again most of my losses are from people who are new to the game and use the newer players which says more about how i guess 20 years later i think im finally having a tough time adjusting
also im using a pro hori stick, and i think the game is definatley more controller friendly than ever, in some matches i definately feel the advantage but for the most part, while i cant play without the stick, casual players are better than ever with the changes

It was basically even I had it 7-7 with my Steve, Feng vs Kaz and Asuka, until backups started getting picked (jack, master Raven, Bob)
