Why is it a picture and not a video? How do we know it's the same fight and not one of the matches from the session afterwards, like I said if it had been tied it would have been a draw and the match would have restarted, it's happened before to me already

Deductive reasoning is how we know it is the same fight. A character's tournament, ranked, player, and quick matches all have different win counters. Considering it is Smoldering-ASH's first tournament, the fact that his character has exactly 3 wins definitely means that this is the first Grand Finals.

You played Smoldering-ASH in player matches afterwards, so you should be aware that your Steve had less than 15 wins, even if you can't remember his win count, which is well over 3 wins. I am sure you are aware of your Steve's tournament win count. It is not hard to calculate, in the subsequent two tournaments you were only put into loser's bracket once and from what I saw you didn't use Steve again.

If you persist in erroneously claiming it is not the same match then seeing a video makes no difference. An image is equally sufficient.

Both Ill-Mind and myself have stated it was 2-2 and I have given photographic evidence. Your saying otherwise is not proof.

Regardless I am going to upload the clip to Namco in order to make them aware of it. It is an issue that needs to be fixed.

In a tournament it displays the total tournament matches you've won with that character, not just for the current tournament.

:yeshrug: Ok fukk it a man can only admit when he's wrong I could have sworn it goes to a draw but what I think happened is it gave us both Ls thus him getting his second L and being out of the tournament it would make more sense just to replay the match though

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what happened, as that's how I took it from jump, that since you were in Winners and he was in Losers, ya'll both took an L, which made it his 2nd. Just the same tho, they should have it whereas there's a sudden death round or a another set if it goes to draw like that. Also, they need to implement it being FT2 sets rather than just 1 match.

That was my original theory, but looking closely at the match that is not what happened. Normally in Tekken a double KO results in both players getting a win, so each player should have had three blue win icons.

That's what happens in this match, if you look closely before the camera fades.

At the instant of the Coli Grand Finals double KO at 0:53, only Premier had a win icon light up, rather than both players having a win icon light up. That is what does not make sense. I have never seen a double KO and only one person get the win. Really peculiar, but I have seen odder things happen in Tekken, like character's blocking while ki-charged, then attacking with a counter hit move.

I agree that tournament mode needs to be modified. I can understand Double KOs resulting in dual loss in player/quick/ranked matches, but for tournament battles, it should simply be a rematch. I'm also in favor of FT2 sets.

I imagine we still have more updates coming, the online mode is still worse than TTT2, I still see characters missing body parts in ranked/player matches, and lobby matches still terminate randomly at a far greater rate than TTT2, or even T5Dr online. Hopefully this will all be fixed before we get the Summer 2017 DLC pack.

Might of placed a little higher if you had continued our high level training sessions
yeah I'm gonna try and play with y'all more often. online in general really. my thing is I'm not really a fan of lobbies, I'd rather go one on one

the theory is sound but i think we are giving their barebones online mode too much credit to be able to compute all that right then and there. this is some legit #EmailHarada type stuff
