PS4.

Trying to learn Jin and getting rocked.

Lili is my main.

:francis: I’m on PC and Xbox for now. Getting another PS4 next month.

Could post some gameplay here and people will give feedback. When I try to learn a character I watch pros play and steal their tech - RunitBlack, CherryBerryMango, Book are the best Jin players in the world atm

bunch of guides out there in YT as well. Blasted Salami has a series for just about every character.

I've been watching Mango but Jin has so many punishes sometimes I get confused. To add to that I keep using his Tekken 6 combos which don't exist anymore. I am in the practice mode figuring out King, and Xiaoyu.

Got wrecked by a Xiao the other day.

She's always been my worst matchup.

I'm going to pick up Zafina.

xiaou basically just wait for her to do all her dumb ass twists and spins , eventually they gonna do something punishable , plus once you get going they tend to press buttons .... they hate just sitting there and blocking

Sounds like my experience when I picked him up a year ago. Has multiple tools for every situation and choosing between them on the spot can be hard. Wound up dropping him because I prefer less execution heavy characters.

What helps in the Ling MU is finding a fast mid that will hit her out of AOP and interrupt her backturn transitions on block - she should not be allowed to attack for free unless you get hit on the transitions, and being patient when she gets you on the ground because she's 100% looking for an oki set up to relaunch. Some characters can deal with her bullshyt better than others, like Paul.

Zafina is fun if nothing else. That mantis stance is even more evasive than AOP

Yeah they are super active, I'm waiting to get my moves in, but that's not my nature when playing with Lili. I'm in between aggressive states when playing with Jin and Lili so getting to that balance is my goal.

I start to figure out the matchup and fumble it when I'm up two rounds. Execution in the final round psyches me out.

.

Her AOP is something I have to feel out in the matchup and that's mainly because I'm garbage at the low game. Her mixup and setups on the oki I have a decent chance with. I've been watching Yuyu to see her Xiao tools and it's been helping.

As for Jin getting a win with him is so rewarding, but getting to those three rounds between movement, party timing, execution and punishes is a long time. I can see why you gave up on him, I try but I keep coming back.

Zafina I used in TTT2 but she was horrible, been friending to play with her again.

Been learning Jin for a little bit now and I'm starting to get a handle on his moves.

My issues are movement, whiffing.

Reached vanguard with him and had some tough battles so far. This game is a lot of fun again.

Haven't even touched Zafina yet.

Season 3 DLC will include frame rate data in practice mode. They even have a new feature that shows a good punish for the opponent's moves.

@Mowgli what time do you usually run? I could use a sparring partner.

And who was the Asuka in here giving the beats?
