Akuma looks vulnerable if playing against a Mishima or some power character like Paul. I can thing tons of ways to take down his hurricane kick and dodge his fireballs and give him a beat down

I hope they at least but a black character like Raven or Eddy

I love all my 3D fighters and follow them all pretty closely and dude ain't represented all that much. dude was always around low tier, never seen him online, never seen him place high in the nyc tournaments, never seen him much in japanese/korean tournaments. his teleporting shyt was easily avoidable, his combos always did average damage but needed pretty strict timing on the ff+3 knee juggles, his back-turned shyt wasn't worth the risk compared to someone like Xiaoyu, and a lot of his moves were very punishable.

sucks there's no black characters in T7 but I don't give 2 shyts about Raven. and like I said, every other character introduced in 5 and 5:DR are in, holding out for a big Raven reveal could happen but I highly doubt it

I've been noticing a trend of fewer black characters in fighting games. Street Fighter V has like seven blonde characters and the only black character is fat ass jobber Birdie who's characterized as being a lazy villain prone to stealing things. Balrog is coming but he's been a big ass stereotype since he was first introduced.

Not to be dramatic but it feels like a weird form of digital gentrification. I mean, they straight up Debo'd Bruce's character and gave his lane to an Asian female.

Japanese tekken players tired of seeing brothas beating that ass at these tournaments.

Maybe they'll stop coming if we show them we're not including them.
