Tekken 7 adds Yoshimitsu
As if he wouldn't be playable.

The next character to join Tekken 7 will be Yoshimitsu, Bandai Namco announced. He’ll be playable in the arcade version starting May 12.
Yoshimitsu first debuted in the original Tekken and returned in all the series’ subsequent sequels. He was last playable in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Watch his announcement trailer below.

TORONTO!
WTF THERE IS NO ROGER IN THIS GAME.

:camby:

Skip
only 20 have been announced so far. console versions usually get extra characters, features, etc. but we won't know about that for a long time.

looks like your everyday Tekken, no new animations, no new designs. basically some new uninteresting characters and a new rage mechanic

The arcade is about to drop. The roster has been announced.

They better give the console some new characters because if I don't have roger or Alex this will be a non coppable consumer good

Tekken 7 Officially Released in Japan and it Looks Great: Here are 86 Pictures Directly from Tokyo

Tekken 7 has been available for about a month in a limited version in Japanese arcades, but today it was finally released officially in its full glory, and the game really looks great.
I went to one of the Sega arcades in Akihabara to grab a few pictures (and if you know me, you also know that actually means “a lot”) for your perusal.
Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to play it long enough for a full review, but the Bandai Namco’s new labor of love feels extremely responsive and is really a lot of fun.

Tekken 7’s Beginner’s Guide is Full of Screenshots, Teaches You the Moves

Many would not expect it, but in a super-technological country like Japan, paper still has a value. That’s why games get lovely promotional mini-artbooks like Bloodborne’s and big arcade release even get a nice little manual for you to pick up and consult.
That’s the case with Tekken 7, which got its official release in Japanese arcades today. With it came the “Beginner’s Guide,” which not only is full of (unfortunately small) screenshots, but it’s also a full fledged manual that teaches mechanics and moves.
It even includes a glimpse on the game’s costumes.
Since you know I like to share, I picked up one, and used one of those awesome convenience store self-service scanners they have here in order to show you how it looks like.
