I was thinking about thr first Bootcamp Click group album release.
In my mind I dont know the temperature in NY locally but nationwide Bone Thugs and Wu took the world by storm as far as groups.
That 97 BCC album was trash.

What separates KVNG GUAP from the rest and to his own declaration as to why he is running these old school reactions better than anyone else is because he's only 18 who never been in tune to hip hop before he was even born. Think about it. This kid was BORN in 1999 or 2000. So, he's been understandably CLUELESS to what we hold dear and why we view these guys as legends. So, his reactions aren't from SOME snobbish hip hop analysis.... he's just a kid that basically only know rap music from THIS decade. So, his reactions are GENUINE REACTIONS and not any analytical thesis. It puts, at least myself, back to the absolute first time hearing any of those joints and how I felt just out of pure reaction. And that's it. He vibes with it and give you his honest opinion without really disrespecting their imprint in the game.

He did the GOAT rap group. :gladbron: :banderas:

I was worried he wouldn't feel this song, and I wouldn't recommend this as the first Run-D.M.C song someone listens to, but he still appreciated it. If he ever hears "King of Rock" or "Beats to the Rhyme," his head might explode. :mjlol:

The fact that he immediately understood the relevancy of that song without even know the history RUN-DMC is exactly why he's running that throwback shyt. He realized how it was unprecedented it was mixing two genres together like that gave them props for even achieving that.

That Ghostface Killah song he reviewed is :wow::mjcry:

I love the fact that breh took something from that song and made him realize how lucky he has it to not go through those painful childhood experiences that Ghost went through.

Breh is a real one off that shyt alone:salute:

All I Got Is You might be Ghost's most straight forward song though...I think he would appreciate more of his music but alot of his lyrics are going to go way over his head.

When dude finally realizes who's all in the Wu Tang Clan:ohhh::russ::mindblown:

Is this your first time in the thread? :dwillhuh:

This guy's name is Kvng Guap, and he's a young dude reacting to classic hip hop songs. This was his first Run-D.M.C. video, and I was excited going in because Run-D.M.C. is the reason I fell in love with hip hop in the first place.

I was worried when I saw it was "Walk This Way" because that song, while big, isn't the best representation of the group and someone else my age could hear it and easily think it's wack. But this guy got it. :obama:

I've been in the thread one or twice, but I didn't know who he was. I thought he was an up and coming rapper or someone in the industry. So he's some.randpm guy?.I don't get you would be worried, but I don't know, I don't get it. I only care about what other rappers listen to.

I'm not really into reaction videos like that, but this guy keeps it interesting. At the end of the day, he likes what he likes, but it's nice to see him recognizing the kings for what they are.

Honestly, this dude probably listens to and respects old-school rap more than 85% of the rappers out now. :russ:

Exactly that's why this kid is the king of this shyt. For those who wanted him to get all analytical, watch this particular video. He gives some excellent insightful commentary. Anyone who said he isn't "bright".. I disagree completely. He a smart kid. :salute:

I never said he wasnt bright. I said he’s a lil dense when it comes to bars he doesnt understand. Alot of the times he doesnt even try to. He just kinda writes it off as “deep” and keeps it pushin. Lol
