This is one of the few times I've seen him straight up say something sucks. In the past, he would say it's not for him or it's cool. This time, he couldn't even clean it up. The verse was legitimately trash in his mind.

I mean I get Nas isn't the greatest singer in the world or anything but it never really bothered me on Undying Love or his singing on Calm Down/ Life is Like a Dice Game/Black Girl Lost/Gimme Yours/Street Dreams/etc. It kinda reminds me of Conway's sung hooks where it's not polished and maybe a little offkey but in an appealing way cuz its kinda grimy but still catchy.
