This the first I've really heard of her and I had no clue she was white judging by the soul in the music
Only to go find her IG and they have a tribute page, shes dead
Grand opening grand closing
Lady T wasn't white, breh.
She's one of few people of European descent that reached the level of love that she got from black folks, where a nikka would literally fight you for talking shyt about her.
Now that I see how much she was loved by the set, it makes sense.
She never seemed like she tried too hard to be down, she was all natural and real.
The coldest part about her was she was so talented, and so respected in the music industry as an elite level multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and singer, she could've pulled a Madonna and went completely pop back in the late 70s/early 80s, but she stayed true and was always surrounded by real nikkas.
She's an ancestor now.
