I concede TTG is a funny show...it's a different tone..can't compare it to the original at all.

Won’t compare it to the original Teen Titans, but it’s my favorite cartoon that’s current. I never thought I’d see a kids show use a Bell Biv DeVoe and Cameo references. Even used a GoodFellas was referenced. Even had LeBron on an episode.

people forget that a lot of folks had the same complaints about the original teen titans show. compared to the other DC shows of its era (batman & superman TAS, justice league, batman beyond) it came off as some goofy childish wannabe anime shyt and it turned a lot of people off
now TTG comes out and all the TT fans are saying the same shyt

The theatrical movie was pretty damn fun. They took shots at themselves, other DC characters, Marvel, made fun of the concept of being a superhero, and shyt, there was even a Stan Lee cameo. What a way to end it too.
