At least Static had the benefit of being integrated fully into the Timm-verse along with Batman Beyond.

Problem is they refuse to release every season of the show on DVD.

WB could make crazy money by releasing a box set of the entire Timm verse (B:TAS, S:TAS, Static Shock, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, & Batman Beyond).

Mmm-hmm. I'm a HUGE DCAU/Timmverse fan. But, I've watched very little of "Static Shock" because Warner Bros. never released the series on DVD like they did with the other shows. The good news is the last few months, Warner Bros has been finally finish releasing some of there older 90's cartoons like "Animaniacs" and "Tiny Toons". So maybe they'll finally get to "Static Shock".

At this point I'm just waiting on Young Justice to come to Netflix like Avengers: EMH, JL, JLU, and Samurai Jack.

Teen Titans Go has some of Cartoon Network's highest ratings ever.

Look, I was a fan of Young Justice too, but people need to understand that that show had bad ratings and terrible toy sales.

The fact is, kids like kiddy shyt. They don't want angsty CW dramas.

:what: are you talking about Young Justice was one of CN highest rated shows when it was on along with that Star Wars show. It didn't sell toys period they got the ratings. Also CN is cost cutting look at the animation on the new Ben 10 series, Teen Titans go is another marginally animated series so it doesn't cost as much to produce.

And I'll say again, the toys didn't sell because they were horribly made. Mattel stopped production on ALL DC toys because they weren't selling. collectors refused to buy them shyts because they quality of them was a joke.

Young Justice repeatedly got beat in the ratings by Disney XD. Mind you, I'm talking about kids 6-11, the only demographic Cartoon Network cares about.

It didn't sell toys period they got the ratings.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here, but Young Justice had a toyline that bombed. A show like this makes its money off the toyline. Therefore...

what's not to understand, Young Justice was one of Cartoon Networks top rated shows the toy line just bombed. You claimed that Young Justice had poor ratings and the toyline bombed which was inaccurate. Only one of those claims was true and that was the fact that it wasn't selling toys, the actual ratings for the show were good.

:rudy: what does that have to do with the fact that Young Justice was still one of Cartoon Networks top rated shows. Disney's XD Marvel line up come on a completely different day.

The toy line didn't "just" bomb--that's a big deal for a show like this.

All I'm saying is, it's not a surprise that this show got replaced by a show that had more kiddy appeal... on a KIDS channel.

:rudy: what does that have to do with the fact that Young Justice was still one of Cartoon Networks top rated shows. Disney's XD Marvel line up come on a completely different day.

First of all, nobody's talking about the marvel lineup. Second, I'm looking at the kids 6-11 ratings, and while I'll admit they're not anything that awful, it did repeatedly get lower ratings than the other shows on Saturday mornings, Ben 10, Ninjago, Scooby Doo and even Green Lantern.
