Haven't been paying attention but i'm pretty sure most polls say majority of Americans still don't like the healthcare law and its still considered a struggle by the media and one of the reasons Obama's poll numbers are down and apparently republicans are going to take the Senate or something

I would argue that the worst thing in the world was them branding it Obamacare. Furthermore, it has 49% approval and that will only continue to grow. Be honest, you know that Ted Cruz did not anticipate that response.

Stop being a nitwit....baked into the "opposition" of the ACA is a range of about 10-15% of respondents who feel the law didnt go far enough, and favor the public option as the only reform.

"Not all of the opposition to the health care law comes from the right," said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "Thirty-nine percent say they oppose the law because it's too liberal, but 12% say they oppose it because it's not liberal enough."

Now if you want to use those respondents in an objective analytic then be my guest, but birdbrain righties who are trying to use it to score cheap partisan points cant. If we eliminate those respondents, and meaningless far right polls, then the polls generally range as being in favor of the law. Those numbers also are on the heels of a disastrous roll out, and common sense tells you the numbers are only going to continue to trend upwards from here on out.... Probably greatly, and in short order.

I just dont understand the political calculus from righties anymore. Its a right-centered inspired reform, and its bound to improve a health care system that was beyond broken. Why not take advantage of political optics to try and take credit? I guess they are so invested in the we-must-hate-everything-obama-suggests-no-matter-what strategy, that they are willing to hand him and Democrats the biggest socio-political victory since Reagan said "tear down that wall". They could have worked with Obama and claimed that everything that went right was their doing, and everything that went wrong was because of him. Now they're stuck as the party that violently opposed an historic improvement in health insurance. Even if they gain the senate, they're gunna get destroyed in '16. The party is just brutally ignorant.
