You sure about that because you add in rising internet prices, we're going to reach that point especially since the government isn't stopping companies from placing data caps on customers.

Internet is the important component that people are leaving out when discussing streaming services.

Just from a game theory perspective, as long as Netflix doesn’t become a monopoly they can only raise prices so much without consumers going to different avenues. It’s why Streaming is eating into traditional cable so much today. It will happen but it has to be a slow gradual increase due to competition

I pay for disney+ on an annual basis and trade it with friends for netflix/hulu/prime/HBO/Showtime

I pay $25 a month for YTTV for live sports

and I'm paying $2 a month for a YT premium family plan

I'm still paying like $50 total for everything.

also my internet is 500Mbps and it's $45 a month for unlimited data at least.

Live TV always has ads though. Hulu w/ Live and Sling and all them have ads when you're watching live shyt, even if you pay to not watch ads.

Disney Plus and Hulu are bundled with my phone plan.

Prime TV is bundled with Amazon Prime

Other than that I pirate everything else. Mainly torrents or download an app on my jailbroken fire stick.

Having all of those apps and cable is a trap. You’re basically paying for thousands of shyt you will never watch.

Music streaming is 1000 better because you only need one app to access damn near anything you want. Which is why I stopped pirating music. They even got sites you can stream mixtapes that don’t be on streaming platforms.


These companies ain’t really making money money anyway besides Netflix maybe.

And they’ve probably lost billions because of people sharing passwords.

streaming is cheap if you tailor your preferences to one carrier. You were never intended to subscribe to 5 different services. Its a steal if you like TV shows and subscibe only to hulu, if you like movies and subscribe only to hbo-go or disney+, or if you like anime and subscribe only crunchyroll or funimation. You gotta pick one tribe and stay with it. Its like choosing to be a memeber of 4 tribes and then complaining about 4 sets of taxes.


Ubers and Lyfts were fine before regulation. You could actually compete with taxi(s) until uber gig workers got entitled despite being explicityly told before joining that "This is not a career, its a side hustle" . Its like hiring a hooker for 30 minutes and then asking her what wedding venues she likes for your future wedding.
