Cap quit because he realised they werent making any progress they were just destroying the city and people were losing lives/homes

In the wake of baltimore that shyt is just :wow:

True but the point is that they were never for the people in the first place. It was mostly their egos and arrogance driving them forward. Not saying that government corruption and wanting to protect your family from blow back aren't valid concerns, but at the end of the day they broke the law and thus endangered the very people they were supposed to protect. Yeah tony stark pulled a dikk move by shipping people space gitmo but at the end of the day him and reed were trying make people responsible for their actions.

Has it been confirmed brehs that they are in fact going with the Public safety (ie Nitro blowing shyt up or some major catastrophe caused by superheroes) to cause the divide?? I really could see them just using the Tony keeping secrets thing to escalate and cause the rift. I mean that's how things are shaping up on that wack ass Avengers Assemble cartoon.

According to a report

Winter Soldier running around causes the divide whilst Crossbones replaces Nitro, goes on a rampage which leads to the registration act being passed

how come it was bad with mutants?

Because mutants just wanted to be left alone and live a normal life unlike those people who accidentally fell in some radioactive shyt and got super powers. Plus they went around gathering up mutants and putting them in camps. Completely different. ..

During the Civil War there were only 198 mutants left in the whole world, and most of them were already known without having to be registered. I think the X-Men even declared themselves Neutral.

i am asking as a general question not as it pertains to civil car. Why is it ok to for superheros to register but it is wrong for mutants. Unless you believe in mutant registration.

I didn't rock with the idea of registration (though I definitely didn't think it was some horrendous thing) while reading Civil War. That said, #Starkset all day for a few reasons. Tony's a thinker and a doer. Cap's always on some idealistic shyt but your ideals aren't doing anything to solve problems. Cap's attitude during the current Avengers/New Avengers run got tiring real quick. Complaining about Tony and the Illuminati's idea about possibly destroying another world to save their own universe yet bringing no other viable options to the table to avert the possibility. This nikka's over here in his feelings saying "There has to be some other way" over and over yet doing nothing to figure out what that other way is:camby:Give me the progressive thinker that actually does shyt over the idealistic "leader" that does nothing

for mutants it started with registration and snowballed into the sentinel program. Why does it matter how you got your powers? That is what is always weird about the marvel universe. The Fantastic Four and Avengers are worshiped yet mutants are hated?
